Social Security Underpays Widows & Widowers

Widows and widowers are not being paid benefits they are owed

A report by the Inspector General of the Social Security Administration admits that Survivors Benefits owed to widows widowers.  US News & Wold Report reports that the Social Security some retirees will be short-paid more than $13,000 over their lifetimes if this is not corrected.
