We’ve all experienced the frustration of long wait times when trying to get service.
But there’s perhaps nothing more frustrating than experiencing this when trying to submit a Social Security disability application. Imagine needing help, being entitled to it, but not being able to get it in a timely fashion.
This raises the question — which areas have the longest wait times? This great image shows us the answer. It’s part of the SecurityStat program, which aims to help identify states with long wait times so these numbers can be improved. The data shows many West Coast states have the longest wait times, but that this problem is speckled throughout areas all across the country.
