The Social Security Administration (SSA) recently announced changes to Social Security disability payments.

Per their announcement, there will be nine new compassionate allowances conditions, and two original designations receiving revisions. You can view the full list here.

The aim of these changes is to speed up the disability application process. If successful, it could help millions who have been trying to qualify for disability benefits.
