A recent hardware issue forced the Social Security Administration (SSA) to close its offices and also impacted online services, preventing access to my Social Security accounts. For more details, refer to the original article here.
The problem began in the morning and continued into the afternoon, with the SSA unable to offer in-person services. That day, the SSA didn’t respond immediately to requests for further information on the outage. But as of now, reports state that services have resumed.
Did this outage impact your ability to use SSA offices and online services? Do you think more problems like this may occur in the future? Or was this just a one-time issue?
