Identity Theft Awareness Week is Here!

This week — January 29 to February 2 — is Identity Theft Awareness Week. The Federal Trade Commission offers a ton of free resources for anyone who has been the victim of identity theft, or anyone who wants tips and advice to better protect themselves. As we all know, identity theft is on the rise. And scammers are getting better and more sophisticated in their methods. Learn more about identity theft here. You can report identity theft to the FTC and get a recovery plan here. The key is to be aware of new scams as they occur and to remain on the lookout.
